Lyrive Modular Design

The Modular Design Project involved creating a flexible UI system that is consistent and easy to customize for different screen destinations and use case scenarios can be a challenge. The screens included dimensions for iOS, CarPlay, and tvOS devices. A modular design approach encourages us to think and design a UI in patterns that are true to the destination and creates an intuitive user experience.

The problem I was trying to solve for this project was what my app was going to be and how was I going to give the platform a unique design.

My solution was to create an app that let helps you find songs you know the beat of but can't seem to remember the name. I took inspiration from other music streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music to develop a music app layout. The difference with Lyrive, however, is that it helps you find music but using your own voice which can instantly be downloaded into your playlist directly on the app. It is especially helpful while driving because you're not able to use your phone to search and find songs. This way you can still find the songs you have stuck in your head while driving safely which is where the term Lyrive came from (Lyric + Drive).
