For the Queens Gambit Title Sequence project we were asked to create a dynamic title sequence and take different types of sounds and movements into consideration. We were also asked to animate multiple short experiments and remixes to our colleges experiments so we could use them in our final project.

The original problem I was trying to solve for this project was how to create a title sequence that matches the theme of the show but also corresponded well to the dramatic music. I also got inspiration from the original title sequence, designed by Saskia Marka, and my peers.

My strategy was to really take the momentum of the music into consideration when animating the video. I wanted the animations to be exaggerated and over the top to give the viewers something that's catches their attention making it almost impossible not to look at. I used animations of my own, animations from other peers and even 'remixed' some of my own and colleges original animations to create something dramatic.
